HOT! Real Sets Price for Ceballos Sale

According to The Athletic, Real Madrid is open to listening to offers for midfielder Dani Ceballos.

Earlier in July, Ceballos expressed his desire to leave Real Madrid in search of more playing time. Earlier this week, the Spanish star reiterated his wish to both coach Carlo Ancelotti and the club’s management.

Recent reports from The Athletic reveal that Los Blancos have decided to grant the 28-year-old’s request and are ready to greenlight his departure if they receive an offer of around €15 million.

Real Betis is reportedly in negotiations with the Santiago Bernabeu outfit, with club legend and current sporting director Joaquin personally involved in the talks. Additionally, AS Monaco is also interested in securing the signature of the midfielder born in 1997 but prefers a loan deal.

As for Real Madrid, the Spanish giants remain open to any potential suitors before making a final decision on August 30. Real Madrid’s preference is to sell Ceballos outright.

Real accept to sell Ceballos.

Earlier in July, Los Blancos’ management assessed that the chances of Ceballos leaving were low due to his salary demands, which could be challenging for mid-tier clubs to meet.

The Spanish star joined Real Madrid from Betis in 2017 and is currently under contract until June 2027, earning a salary of €4.5 million per season. From 2019 to 2021, Ceballos was on loan at Arsenal but failed to make a significant impact.

Coach Ancelotti tried to persuade the 1996-born midfielder to change his mind, especially since Real Madrid’s midfield has become thinner following the retirement of legend Toni Kroos, but his efforts were unsuccessful.
